Many people imagine healing as a straight path—moving steadily from pain toward peace without setbacks. In reality, emotional healing rarely unfolds in a perfectly orderly way. Growth often happens in waves, with moments of progress followed by periods that feel difficult or uncertain. This does not mean you are moving backward. In many ways, it is a natural and meaningful part of the healing process.
