Christian Counseling for Women
Integrating Faith and
Evidence-Based Therapy
At Lantern of Hope, Christian Counseling is available for women who desire to include their faith as part of the healing process. This approach thoughtfully integrates evidence-based therapy with biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual reflection when desired. It is never required, always optional, and fully guided by your comfort level.
Faith can be a powerful source of strength during seasons of anxiety, depression, trauma, relational strain, or life transition. When welcomed into therapy, it can also bring clarity, direction, and deeper meaning to the work of healing.

What Is Christian Counseling
Integrating Faith and Evidence-Based Therapy
Christian Counseling combines clinically sound therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with faith-based integration. This may include:
Exploring how your beliefs shape your thoughts and emotions
Identifying spiritual struggles contributing to distress
Incorporating prayer into sessions when requested
Reflecting on Scripture in ways that support emotional growth
Examining themes of grace, identity, forgiveness, and hope
